Tomorrow Austin Mayor Will Wynn is proclaiming it "Daniel Johnston Day" in honor of the film opening here. More details to come!

It would be easy to make jokes about how one would best go about celebrating Daniel Johnston Day but I think the best thing you can do is go see the movie and find out what this special day and special man is all about. If you're not able to see the film tomorrow there's always the music and art to enjoy.

May you all have the best Daniel Johnston Day ever!

Daniel Johnston Day? Rent an old horror movie, drink alot of orange soda, write a beautiful song...

The Wilmington Danfest officially begins with an art show of 13 pieces in Theatre N at Nemours tomorrow, Friday, at 5pm. Perfect for DJ Day!

Sorry, one of my VCRs gave up the ghost as soon as I started offering to make copies of things, so I probably won't get you a package in time for the Fest there.
