Ween and Daniel Johnston

I'm a fan of both artists and I ran across this old Ween news article from 2001 where Dean Ween talks about a coloboration between the 2. Did this ever happen?

From the article:
"we've been asked to collaborate with Daniel Johnston, of whom we are very big fans. The details of this are kind of sketchy at the moment, but it seems like it's going to happen very soon. If you're unfamiliar wit his music you should make a point of tracking some down. He's a great songwriter from Texas who has an enormous back catalog on mulitiple labels."

Don't take this as Gospel, but on the Dan end I'm not familiar with anything featuring Ween, and on the Ween end someone gave me a boot CD that seems to have ALL their rare tracks (up to a point at least) and again, I never heard no Dan w/them.

Their stuff with Yoko Ono kicks buttocks, tho.

Thanks for the info. Its a bit disapointing considering the output of the 2 artists. It could have been great.
