any word of more screenings in the states?

Hi! The Finnish premiere of The Devil and Daniel Johnston will be August 25.
It's happening here in my hometown Oulu. The Oulu Music Video Festival and Air Guitar World Championships take place for the 12th time between 24 and 28 August 2005.
Can't wait to see the film...

any word of more screenings in the states?

Nothing in the states until Sony releases it nationwide in mid winter. It will be screening twice at the Toronto Film Festival next month. Exact times and theaters will be announced August 30th but it looks like the dates will be September 9 and 10.

And Peke thanks for the great scoop about the screening at the Air Guitar World Championship!  Now that's cool.

I also saw something on one of the sites about the Edinburgh Festival , giving a possible UK release date of Feb 2006. Unconfirmed, projected and subject to change though I guess. If anyone from Tartan reads this , please bring it to Cardiff
