If you SUDDENLY see many topics previously hidden from view,  it is because the new version of MESSAGEBOARD software handles rights very differently.  Strangely, those with more posts could see fewer topics.

If you were PREVIOUSLY a MODERATOR and do not appear to still have those rights, please contact dejected@rejectedunknown.com to restore your rights.

If you'd LIKE to serve as a MODERATOR, please contact dejected@rejectedunknown.com.   A Moderator can modify, move, and delete posts, and is chartered with removing obscenities, and random posts that don't belong on this board.   This message board is managed by fans in this way.

Thanks for contributions and your patience.

All seems in order, but I didn't know I was looking to get rid of obscenities. I consider some (no need to mention them here) appropriate slang given their context, and others simply an unfortunate choice of vocabulary for shock value. It's a fine line.

I say, if it's something nasty, intentionally malicious or repulsive, I'll delete. Otherwise, hey, this is America, baby!

Check out the restored "Administrative Posts" area (from the top menu) for instructions for moderators, or to confer or seek concensus with other moderators.

The "Guidelines" (currently missing) promoted open (even intense) discussion, and discouraged censorship.  That material is currently still missing.  Hopefully it can be restored.

The "Adminstrative Posts" area is visible only to moderators and administrators.
