one of my old hardcore/punk bands did a "reunion" gig this past weekend and I figured I could show off my snazzy "Hi How are You" shirt and maybe some of you guys would care.  Enjoy!

If you want to see video of it for some reason, here ya go:

Nice site!

Great that you wore a DJ shirt, too!

Thanks.  That has quickly become my favorite shirt, much to my wife's dismay.

Whoa.  I saw Bad Brains, but when they played as "Soul Brains" and it wasn't very good.  Negative Approach are great too.  My favorite of the 80's HC bands is Minor Threat for sure.

You guys might be surprised to learn that some of Daniel's biggest early supporters in the 80s were "punk/hc kids".  I saw Minor Threat 2 or 3 times including once with The Big Boys.  Also saw Black Flag, The Minutemen, The Dils, The Urinals and most of the other early 80s California bands that toured.  When Daniel moved to Austin in the mid 80s The Big Boys were winding down but he became a big fan of their spin-off band Poison 13.

Danny has a secret "sort of punk rock" band...it's all hush-hush though.

But what defines "punk" anyhow?

Just raw and in your face. That's what it's always been to me. But it's a general term. It's interesting subject matter in itself. .... sung and done  by misfits

Jeff, good point.  I think that's part of what attracted me to Daniel's music in the first place....his early stuff especially definitely keeps the "spirit" of punk.
