More review news:

There is a favourable review in the newest edition of Mojo (March 2009), where the DVD is described as "An exquisite, dignified set..."

There is also quite a lengthy review here: http://hkfilmnews.blogspot.com/2009/01/angel-and-daniel-johnston-live-at-union.html 

Please let me know if you spot any others folks, especially in the US publications - I do not have access to these titles. At the minute I have to sneak into WHSmiths and zoom through everything on the shelf every couple of weeks.
