Hi folks,

We have issued a new trailer for 'The Angel and Daniel Johnston - Live at the Union Chapel' today. The featured song is Grievances. Check it out at www.angelanddaniel.com or go direct to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eoFJKqKHnxQ, where you can also rate the video and add comments.

I'd love to have your feedback.

This looks amazing, I must have this.. Will it only be available on Amazon.com? Or will it be available on other online stores soon as well?

Thanks for the positive feedback, chaps.

xBabyTwinx: Oh, so that's you is it? There are a handful of faces that we have got to know like old friends over the last 18 months.

Alex: At present the film will be retailed in Europe on DVD Region 2 via Amazon.co.uk and in North America via the Kunaki.com system. While the North American version shall have the same content as the European version, the Kunaki system differs a little to conventional retail arrangements. This means that unfortunately we are unable to take pre-orders at this moment. You can find more details on the 'North American ordering' section of http://AngelAndDaniel.com

By the way guys, if you get a mo, please go and rate the new trailer and leave a comment on it's youtube.com page at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eoFJKqKHnxQ&watch_response
.

Also, don't forget to get excited about this film all over your blogs and forums you may frequent, and feel free to link the site at http://angelanddaniel.com

I'm afraid the delivery schedule of the DVD is in the hands of Amazon.co.uk. They will probably process the payments on 8th December and have it with you fairly soon. Pre-ordering is a very good idea though, because it means you are first in the queue if we are in danger of selling out.

In regards to your other questions regarding your star turn, you shall have to wait and see Smiley

Now get over there and rate and comment on it! Smiley

Dear Rob!

I am looking forward very much to the DVD, it looks like that it will be the best Christmas gift I can imagine. But can't wait until Christmas, so I will try to order it myself. I live in Germany and it's impossible for me to order through amazon.co.uk, I don't have a credit card. It's not listed on amazon.de, so how can I get hold of it? I am sure this is a question that many fans ask themselves. Best payment option (in case there's no distribution within Germany) would be paypal. I would like to order it as soon as possible, don't want to run the risk that it's sold out. Will there be a limited number of DVDs sold?? Would be great to get a (positive) answer. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for your kind comments Ohjoy and Molly.

Hi Oliver,

Just to clarify, as far as we are aware anyone should be able to buy the DVD anywhere in the European Union from www.Amazon.co.uk as long as they have one of the payment methods listed here:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/help/customer/display.html?ie=UTF8&nodeId=502572

If anyone still has trouble with that, email me  dj@adjustableproductions.com and we shall try to work something out.

I would like to sell as many copies as possible as I am rather fond of the idea of making back the money I have invested in it.

Cheers,

Rob Wheeler

p.s. don't forget to spread the word to all your German friends on the forums and blogs.

Hi Rob,

thanks for your answer. Ordering from amazon.co.uk is fine, but only for people who own a credit card. It would be great to have an option to order it from somewhere where you can pay with paypal (easiest way) or where you can transfer the money to a European bank account. For that, details like the BIC and IBAN of the bank account are needed.

We want to do our best so that you can "sell as many copies as possible", but please give the people a chance, who don't have a credit card Smiley.

Best wishes,
oliver

Hi Oliver,

As I say, if anybody in Europe has trouble buying via Amazon.co.uk, they can drop us a line at dj@adjustableproductions.com and I shall do my best to sort them out. We are mobilized to do that where necessary. Nobody need go without.

Kind Regards,

Rob

wow...

"I love the colours in this film... and I love the mix... It has the best version of 'The Story of an Artist' I have ever recorded."

that quote from the press release has blown me away.

can't wait to see all of this except for the bits with me in it!
