Hey All-

I'm doing an interview of Daniel in NYC April 15 before or after the Knitting Factory gig, and have decided to represent the Fan Forum and post the whole thing, pictures and all, here first.

I will choose like 20 or 30 of the best fan generated questions from the forum to ask Daniel during the interview. I think it will be a nice way for him to touch base with his fans, as well as an opportunity for fans to communicate with him.

Blender magazine does something similiar...
You can go to their website, find out which artists are coming up for interviews in future issues of the magazine, and then readers can send in questions they always wanted to ask. Then they print the questions with the responses (and name of the reader who asked the question) in an upcoming issue.

Sherl Crow, for example, is in the new (March) issue. They have a little intro by the author, then 27 questions from fans, which she answers. Some of the questions, granted, are lame ("Do you think you've lived before?" and "What's the king of insults?") but having met Daniel and having a critical senitivity for such things, I think I could select a group of 20 or 30
Fan Forum questions appropriate for an evening of warm New York City conversation.

I'll eventually run the whole thing as a radio broadcast on WVUD, (College Radio station of the University of Delaware) with songs/performances edited into the interview. WVUD is broadcast on the web, and I'll have a tape of the show, once aired, which I can put up here.

So the rest is up to you!

Post here, I will keep a record of the What of Whom, and if all goes well, and Daniel's temperment is good, we'll have a really cool, personalized exclusive interview!

Thanks in advance for all your suggestions.
I'll keep you posted.

I agree Stallion, most is in his songs. But how about the Sonic Youth connection? Do they keep in touch?
Also, I know he talks alot about having so many projects right now, so when will these be released and who are involved?
I'll post more questions as soon as I come up with any.

Good luck with the interview Henry!
