I have never in my life talked to anyone in person that is a fan about Daniel's music and whatnot so I thought that was pretty cool cus normally anyone I talk to about music doesnt know of him. haha I was eating at some place and when the fellow walked in I locked right onto that shirt HA.

Well see I see both sides cus I myself have my illnesses and I have done somethings that didnt make much sense and yes it did effect people I didnt even know and yes I paid for it! Daniel paid for his mistake and Im very sure he feels horrible about it cus I know I feel horrible about what I have done (and always will) in the past cus of my illnesses.But they still shouldnt dwell on it for the rest of their lifes cus they are not going to be happy that way and everytime they think of her they are only going to have bad memorys and hatred and thats not what they want Im sure.Im not saying forget about what happened though just dont dwell on that one moment in time for the rest of your life.I think the replys to the original post by some of the fellows above have some good points also!

well hey thanks "notdaniel" cus I know what "ItsHardToFindAFriend" is talking bout so its nice to have it cleared up! Honestly I never realised it was a different version :Q) but then again when I first saw kids I never heard of Daniel Johnston so Im only going by memory! Damnit I wish I heard of Daniel Johnston sooner cus his music really means alot to me!

Well as we all know Daniel recorded lo-fi recordings but I was wondering if someone could explain or expand a bit more on "how" he did it.I know its a dumb question and I even think the docu kinda explained the way he recorded but I kinda need a bit more info about the lo-fi........Im just very curious.One reason Im very curious is I listen to the song "despair came knocking" and it sounds like a reverb effect is on the guitar but I dont think he ever used effects.The only thing I can think is that he recorded that song in his bathroom or something.I know I make music and I guess I should know about this stuff but in all real honesty I know nothing of recording or anything cus I have learned every little thing I know by either asking questions (like this) or just doing it.I really love the lo-fi sound so I was just wondering how its done.

HA I thought that was a Daniel Johnston song!That movie was on comdey channel not to long ago so I watched it and hear that song and said to myself "damn that song sounds familiar".

Anyways at the end of the movie "the sasquatch dumpling gang" they play a cover version of the song "Go"

well the title says it all! I was able to buy new recording equipment at a good price *smiles proud* and now I can do stuff I couldnt do before so YAY! basically "the human noise experiment" is me making noise with my mouth haha yes that might turn you off but it turned out very ambient and dark and I would just like some feedback.Go here to hear it

ps.Im still very new to all of this sooooo what I do is basically very minimalist so dont go into this thinking o boy this is going to be great haha and also Im could be using the wrong terms for what Im doing but to me thats what I would call it.Basically I have no clue what Im doing and just do it and figure things out later haha I learn by making mistakes and stuff like that ect ect. But for real I dont think you meant for that to happen cuz I had that happen to me on myspace awhile.It sounds find on your end and at the right speed but then you upload it and myspace makes it a alvin and the chipmonks song.

awww this is beautiful when I saw the chorus full of kids to back him up I was thinking now thats whatsup!Also "life in vain" is a wonderful song and I really love hearing a full band to his songs!I have never heard the original version of the song either from the fun album.
