DAMN! I missed it the first time around. It's going to be on again in about 20 minutes or so.
EDIT: I just saw it! Man, great stuff. I especially enjoyed that last line, I think it's something like "Like rain on a open grave". Did anyone see the "Care Less" performance on IFC.com? That one is good, but not as good as the televised one.

Woah, that's a good question. I've seen several 'Casper' cartoons on those $1 DVDs, but those are just public domain or something. I remember my aunt's neighbor use to put up a display of Disney characters he painted himself & lights every Christmas. I've noticed that people in Mexico throw the whole Copyright thing right out the window too. I mean, a THRIFTY ICE CREAM!!?!?   |

Wicked- Daniel is set to tape a performance for the Henry Rollins Show while in LA...sometime around May 4th Here's info about Henry Rollin's Talk Show: Following last year’s monthly television series Henry’s Film Corner, the all new THE HENRY ROLLINS SHOW premiered on the Independent Film Channel (IFC) Saturday, April 1 at 10pm ET. The expanded half-hour talk show airs every Saturday night at 10 pm ET and 1 am ET with a encore airing the following Thursday night at 11 pm and 1 am ET. The new format incorporates an eclectic selection of musical acts, a wider range of celebrity guests, and new, original field segments. Maverick film director Oliver Stone and musical guests Sleater-Kinney join HENRY for the show’s premiere. Other guests scheduled for the show’s initial 20-episode run include Ozzy Osbourne, Chuck D, and German auteur Werner Herzog, while upcoming musical performers include Jurassic 5, John Doe, and Frank Black. Alamo South on May 5 was the cite I needed. I'll look forward to seeing some Daniel outakes.
The Alamo staff now has my Daniel VHS "library" including the 1997 comeback show w/Rhythm Rats (Rejected!/I'm A Believer/Speeding Motorcycle/Favorite Darling Girl & rehearsal sessions) + live solo on Austin Music Network circa 2000 (Kool-Ade Medley + Live & Let Die), the "Life In Vain" music video, and the MTV Cutting Edge episode with Dan (Broken Dreams + chatter)*/**. I'm not certain what other footage they have and are getting, but it's a good thing they did some "consulting" with me, since they were apparently planning to lean heavily on the Cutting Edge footage, unaware that the movie pretty much includes 98% of it already! - Not Dan *Attn: the person on this forum to whom I owe a copy of the material listed above, along with lots of my own "Not Daniel Johnston" stuff - your VHS tape & CD-Rs are ready & packaged and will be in the mail within the week. **Attn: Mr. "DANFEST" -- I could make and send you a dub off the videotape that's going to the person referenced above if you think you could use it as part of your extravaganza.
