Wow has anyone else here gotten this yet? i am amazed on the job they did the vinyl is high quality the box is super thick and all the art work is fantastic not to mention the book its on a cool stock so it just feels nice to hold.
 i dont think this will ever take away the nostalgia of the stress tapes and the sound they produced  but these records sound so clear and crisp.

 i looked inside a men's clothing  shop and they it was the wornfree's t.
we dipped inside to take a look $44 big ones and its not even as cool as the old stress  two sided originals.

just picked up the new 1990 artistic vice 2xlp  and i put it right back on the shelf.
 maybe its just me but the lp jacket is ugly the colors are dull it just looks cheap.
and i dont like the idea of digitally remastered daniel johnston.
where the original masters  destroyed  ?? my cd copy on shimmy disc sounds just perfect .
 i have been dying to get this record on lp  so if anyone out there has a orig press for under 40 bucks  please let me know .

yeah i would love to hear some of that stuff that he sent jeff  from that time period.
 it still hurts when i think about stress cause you know jeff could put together one hell of a box set.

well i was wondering if any other of you guys taped any of the recent shows.
 i did the seattle show it came out pretty dam good.

It is a shame that stress cant sell the tapes anymore in my opinion its the best way to hear his music.
  i dont  care for  the mp3s, cds and remasterd  lps.

ok i am going off track here i dont care about the toes .
 but that they put those records in a computer to fix something that was not broken..

 ok  i am holding the homestead lp in one hand and the stress tape in the other .
 i cant see any anything different  not even in the toesies

i was at the record store and i picked up a copy of  the hi how are you reissue.
in the corner of the record it says digitally remastered and originally released  on cassette.
personally, i don't think it needed remastering; i love the way my tape from stress sounds and the lp i have from homestead sounds beautiful.
don't get me wrong...i think its great that the vinyl is available again.  if only that was the same case as the tapes.
but digitally remastered??? i was going to get the yip jump 2xlp but once i read that it was remastered i put the record back in the rack. there might not be that much of a difference, but that little difference is probably    enough for me not to buy it.

 ok to tell the truth i didn't  think i would be saying  that a danny and nightmares would be putting out one of the best things i herd in a long time.
but its true the newish 7" death of satan is fu&*$#@ amazing.
the song death of satan alone makes it epic.
 does anyone else feel the same ??
i think stress records still have some.

 

i  suggest checking out built to spill the record keep it like a secret is one of my top ten of all time.

it was the jersey style two sided and the hi how are you kids t.
 my wife got them for us as a gift and i feel kinda bad for her since we wont be sporting them any time soon.
