I'm definitely going!  I've never seen him live - been waiting for this for years.  I think tickets are only available at the door.  I emailed Spaceland to confirm this and find out when they start selling tickets.  I'll post as soon as I hear from them.

I'm bidding on 'an advanced purchased ticket' posted on eBay - I'm "soul_butterfly" on there -

FYI - I saw a new item last night that said "Buy It Now" for one ticket for about $30 - I also saw another item that appears to be TWO tickets for $40 for the beginning bid -

Assuming you will either 'buy it now' (which I wish I could do now), or bid - "Good luck" smiley

I just heard back from Spaceland.  The interet tickets sold out, but they have some (maybe 100) reserved for the night of the show.  They said they don't allow lineups before 7:00.  I figure I'll get there early and casually loiter until then...

I just made the "Buy it Now" plunge.  In addition to the Ebay tickets that Gina mentioned, there is a seller who has 5 tickets with a Buy It Now price of $29.99 and a 7.00 shipping (priority).
The seller requires immediate payment.

I can't wait to finally see him live!

Amoeba is at Sunset and Ivar in Hollywood.  It's about 10 minutes from Spaceland.  Yeah, I'm definitely hoping to say hello to him then...

Zack - thanks for the info and link.

It turns out that I am not going to make it to LA afterall - serious family issues -

But, it at least felt "fun" to enjoy the excitement of the thought of seeing other fans enjoy Dan's music live, albeit too brief sad, but family stuff has to come first.

I'll probably talk with Dan later today, or this weekend, and wish him a great time...and, to tell him that I am hoping he will enjoy the somewhat intimate setting, and his Southern Cal fans smiley

Well - I know you will enjoy meeting him at Amoeba, Zack! I do hope Dick takes him there early, to get his own CD shopping out of the way wink
