Thanks haint.
Sometimes, especially after reading an interview, I get the feeling that I know too much. Y'know? Like, when I was playing "Electric Ghosts" yesterday, it was simply about the music. Like when a new Dylan record came out and all you have is that. A cover to go over in your lap and a song list and maybe some lyrics. No more info than what is coming in through your eyes and ears.
Maybe I'm feeling a little overwhelmed by all the information that is out there now. I miss the mystery, if only a little. It's my own fault, of course. I'm really "into" Daniel Johnston's work. I just want to be careful I don't confuse THAT with the PERSON "Daniel Johnston."
Anyone else out there feeling like this?

Oh, man! Now I really feel guilty about the private message I just sent you!

They laughed when I sat down at the piano.
They didn't think that I could play.
But their laughter turned to amazement,
When I got back up and carried it away...
