New listener..

Hello -
I'm a new listener of Daniel Johnston. I've been a Nirvana fan for a long time and yesterday I was at Apple's trailer website just seeing what I've missed for the last year and I came across the trailer for the documentary. The moment I saw Kurt Cobain wearing that t-shirt, I remembered seeing it a long time ago but not really investigating what it was but my eyes lit up like a christmas tree and I had to find out who Daniel was.

The moment the trailer opened and I heard the live version of Devil Town, I nearly cried immediately and I have no idea why. It struck me so hard and I plan to watch the documentary tomorrow. Well the film attracted me....i came to hear about daniel through the pastels' cover of speeding motorcycle and that spurred me on to see the film....what an amazing film it is...it really turned me on to daniel's music...i have already ordered yip/jump music and dont be scared from stressed records, cant wait to really get into daniels music.

Yeah im really looking forward to hearing dont be scared after all the stuff iv read about it from various places...Which tapes would you recommend after these....i was thinking maybe songs of pain and hi how are you....id love to hear what everyones favourite tapes are and why....
