Ok ok........I know there is a whole different section for cover songs but there is a cool story behind it!

I have probably said more then once on this board how music is my passion! I have been a music fan since I was 6! Music effected me like it effected Daniel. So I am a member of a couple of music forums (mostly Heavy Metal) Yeah I am a huge Heavy Metal fan!
Since I believe I should spread the word of Dans music to as many as possible and believe me I do preach it! I will make a annual DJ thread mostly about the documentary, Oscar running and the benefit album maybe add a brief history..
I have done pretty well and have made several "converts" and have always taken the time to point the folks who PM me with questions and there are lotsa questions in the right direction.
Alot of "Metalheads" can be closeminded and cynical, sometimes just downright assholes to knew sounds and ideas. So when I started my quest to spread the word of DJ, I was suprised by the response!

There is one particular guy there who I think is a nice dude! He is a well known poster mostly because he does not suffer fools lightly! He will thrash another poster apart in a second and he likes to rile folks up! He has always been cool to me so I just saw him riling folks up as funny since that is the nature of the board! He really is a good guy!
He is a musician also! He plays more of the thrash,death metal "cookie monster" vocals! IN SHORT HE WAS THE LAST PERSON I THOUGHT WOULD DIG DANIEL!
Well my threads got him interested or as he put it "my bitching and moaning of this guy nobody has ever heard of intrigued me." He got the Tribute album and said he liked it...dug the covers more but could see that there was some truth to my "bitching and moaning" that Daniel has a great ability to craft a song!
A few days later he sent me a PM with the subject being "you will never guess who wrote this song" and posted a link to a cover he has done of "Running Water"

The fact that i turned a person on to DJ who might not have ever heard of him pleased me! Not as much as the song itself! It is incredible! This guy does a amazing job and I got permission to post it! It is one of the best covers I have heard of DJ!

SO PLEASE ALLOW ME TO PRESENT "Running Water" performed by M.Lomarrius. HE said it is a one take basement recording on 3 tracks! What that means I am not 100% sure but I am sure you will dig this song!

And Bravo to you, buddy. These acts of turning people on to Daniel's music are not as simple as they seem. I truly believe it is just one more way we are all slowly healing each other...healing the world. Doctors can't do it. Politicians won't do it. Lawmakers don't get it. Religions seem to miss the point all together. So it's up to people like you...not judging, sharing enthusiasms, believing, trusting and, dare I say, loving. Thanks for the post brother. I was really suprised to find it in my PM box! The guy who did it is cool with me but he does like to rile other posters up and is real cynical! He is into what they call "Extreme Metal" and the guy has talent but alot of those type of music fans can be narrowminded! I called Uncle Henry and played it over the phone! I, like Henry got lost in it! I think its one of the best covers I have heard of a DJ song!
