have been out of loop for while, is daniel still doing ok w/ his mood swings?
Seems to be. I finally called to make sure there were no Rita-percussions at the Johnston home. Dan says that they didn't have to evacuate or anything, and there was some wind but no damage done.

PS: I also may have talked him down from his obsession about recording a new album w/me and Gibby Haynes, since the Gibster doesn't seem to spend much if any time in Texas these days. For months he's been calling and asking if I've found GH, cuz "Ten years ago he said he wasnted to do a record with me and I'm ready to do it now" I think I got Dan to accept a visit from Steven Drozd (of the Flaming Lips) as a temporary replacement... now if I can only figure out how to actually got ahold of Steven! (Hey, Drozd set my HEAD ON FIRE once - that's a seriously "you owe me one" situation to be in, ya know?")
PPS: Oh, if the fella who asked about Ween doing anything w/Dan - DJ sez they have not worked together and he does not know of a situation where they were supposed to get together... but he'd love to share some studio time with Gene and Dean!
