This is the truth. The CD is called Lost & Found and it will be released the same time the movie comes out (or about 2 weeks before).

Also, I'm working on a Daniel Johnston LIVE FROM JAPAN CD with a possable DVD to go with the package. I'm about to start production in the next 5 weeks. No release date as of yet.

Hey...that was supposed to be a flashing, glowing, shadowed, marqueed (movng) and orange  "YIPPEE!" ...

Guess my 'puter won't allow use of the word processing options on here?

So.....You'll all have to just use your imaginations! wink

"YIPPEE-EEE-EEEEEEEEEEEE!"

REALLY looking forward to the new releases.
Thanks for filling us in!

PLEASE tell me that you've overcome any doubts Daniel had about including "It's Impossible" - that's one of the very best songs on the disc (you agree too, I'll bet) and besides, it helps make up for my horrid drumming on the previous track, "Rocking 'Round the Christmas Tree"!

They laughed when I sat down at the piano.
They didn't think that I could play.
But their laughter turned to amazement,
When I got back up and carried it away...

I was lucky enough to hear "Lost & Found" with Dan present ...that's why I started this thread...
I am very anxious to buy it!
"It's Impossible" is MY FAVORITE song on there!
There are many good recordings on that album, but that one just HAS to stay...

Sorry, "Not Daniel" ...

I just asked Dan, and he told me that "It's Impossible" will be on another CD, not "Lost and Found"...

...but, it's gonna be 'out there' eventually!
It IS a great song, and he sounds so cool on it - like an old-fashioned crooner.

Hi, Majora.

I don't know Daniel as well as some fan forum members, but I have been lucky enough to recently, VERY unexpectedly, get to not only meet him, but to spend time with him...and I am thankful to be able to be getting to know him as a friend. We live far apart (I am in Northern Cal, he is in Texas), but we speak over the phone every few weeks, and I plan to visit him again next month, and in February (when I will bring his fan-forum house-warming gift to him), and I am sure I will visit at other times in the future, too.

Perhaps he will even visit me in California sometime smiley He is certainly welcome -

I am not too far in age from him (he is 44, I am 48), and so that, plus the fact that my sister has also struggled with severe manic-depression, has made for a natural friendship between us. Of course, my loving his artwork and music also makes for a fun friendship wink

He is a lovely man, really.
Gina
