How to upload?

Login: yipload@hihowareyou.com
Pass: upload

Be sure to include "@hihowareyou.com" in the user login.

Remember to rename all the files without spaces.....like:

danieljohnston-truelovewillfindyouintheend.mp3    or
meanddanielaftershow.jpg      etc...

Then, post the links on the board!  Also, put a short description of the file (date of recording, type of recording, source,  etc...)

the links will be similar to this:

http://messageboard.hihowareyou.com/yipshare/ here you locate your file....

Please, help us to keep the folders organized.    


If you find that too difficult, contact a moderator or admin, we´ll be glad to upload it for you!  


Note: Admins and moderators checks every single files....
Uploading official releases may cause serious mind contortion ...and  we´ll call pest control!!!!  It can cause permanent rejection.....

Ok, The FTP access should be working again. The username has changed from:

"yipload" to "yipload@hihowareyou.com"

This is what the server does, otherwise I'd change it 

There's 800MB to play with, only about 130MB is being used so far.

Sorry for the late reply! Can you tell me what FTP Client you're using to access the site?

For the host name, you can also try just "hihowareyou.com" with the username and password information above.

Really dumb question, but...Daniel and his family don't mind us downloading songs? Of course, he DOES have scores of boots himself, but I still feel guilty everytime I download something.

Downloading songs from this site is because of Daniel's family. They encourage it. As for other download sources, I'm sure SOME kind of financial agreement has been made to compensate Daniel, but who knows? Is any artist really compensated? I'd say, as long as you "buy" a Daniel product (CD, T-Shirt, Art, etc) every now and then, it's all good.

That makes me feel a little better. I have used LimeWire & BearShare before, but erased the files once I was able to find "Welcome to my world", as the mp3s I downloaded were actually the first tracks by Daniel I ever heard. Basically, I make a list...once I find the album that the songs are on, I cross them off the list and delete them from my drive.
