I can't post this cover because it is copyrighted by Gammon and Beck - it is on the DISCOVERED COVERED album.   The only way to legitimately hear it would be to buy the album or download the mp3 from some service ipod or itunes, etc.

What about Some Things Last A Long Time?  Beck did it on a radio program.

A friend of mine who actually listens to music radio stations says that he's been hearing Beck's cover of the Korgis' minor 1980s hit "Everybody's Got To Learn Sometime" quite a bit lately. Not only was the original not that big of a deal, but the Dream Academy tried to (re)make a chart run with the song again in the '90s - and failed! Wonder who in the world made the decision to (presumably) release THAT as a Beck single? If he didn't care about getting publishing royalties himself, he could've at least given the world a fresh (to most ears) song courtesy of our Daniel!

They laughed when I sat down at the piano.
They didn't think that I could play.
But their laughter turned to amazement,
When I got back up and carried it away...

*bump*

I believe you can hear the song on Beck's website.  Anything else you do with it (recording etc) is not my responsibility, you understand...

Oh, that was second-hand information from my housemate.  He says it's on the music player thing that pops up when you open the site.
