monklist,
i know this is not the answer you were looking for but..............you really should buy Daniels music its not like he is Metallica and has loads of money. all you gotta do is spend 12-15 bucks for a cd that will give you a lifetime of listening pleasure. i do suggest e-music if you want more bang for your buck! at e-music you can get close to 3 cd's for like $9.95 and its good quaility and Daniel benefits from it. they have all the Stress releases and thats the best way to start out.

plus downloading stuff always leaves your computer open to virus's and makes that lars ulrich guy really mad!!!! HAHAHAHA Tongue

E-music rocks.  I use to work for them (still kinda do) and they did a great job with the Stress tapes.  This is a good place to go to find Daniels music.

An even better idea...buy them directly from Stress records, at www.museumoflove.com
I'm sure Jeff will appreciate the business

Stress or CDs is the best source - but it's not practical for every use (like MP3 players, etc.)

Considering that, be assured that Daniel DOES get paid for MP3 downloads from www.emusic.com, and those MP3s are all at   440kbps stereo at 44 kHz.

the only thing that bothers me about emusic is that it's required to put in credit card info for the free trial. Seems fishy.

I'm willing to bet more people play MP3's then cassettes these days. I don’t think they even put cassette players in cars anymore. This format is close to dead. I am willing to bet again eMusic will sell more Daniel download this year then Stress has sold cassettes in its lifetime. If you really want to see Daniels music go out to the masses then downloads are by far they way to go. It’s not like you can buy any Stress releases at Virgin.  tongue

Jordy - This is a year old thread that I see no need to get involved in but what exactly is the point you're trying to make here? I'm not trying to start anything... just curious.   huh

The point is about reach. Trying to get Daniels music in the ears of as many peeps as I can.  I think MP3's are they. That's my point.

Thanks for clarifying. With all the doom and gloom about cassettes in general and Stress in particular it was easy to miss that point. If negative campaigning works slam me all you want  - I'm willing to take one for the team.  grin   It just seems like an odd way to try to reach the masses.

You're probably not expecting to like the movie very much are you? Will you ever see it or is it something you'll try to avoid?
