Let's see if I have the whole
Danny and the Nightmares discog correct...
First, there was the self-titled debut 1999 CD, produced by
Jason Nightmare and
self-issued on Eternal Yip Eye, featuring the following tracks:
1 World Without Rock and Roll
2 Ta Da
3 No Escape From Love
4 Why Die
5 Baby Back
6 Born to Rock
7 I Killed Satan
8 Love is for Losers
9 Bad Cat In Town
10 Lonely Heartbreak
11 Love is a Ghost
12 Adventures of God as a Young Boy
13 Wild Thing
14 Rat Race of the Dead
15 Long Ago Far Away
The zine
Cool Beans #14 came with a free compilation CD including the Nightmares performing "Human Cannonball" by the
Butthole Surfers. When Daniel sent a batch of additional demos to the zine’s staff, they apparently “misinterpreted” this gesture as permission to release and sell a new Nightmares CD of their own; the result was the unauthorized 2002 EP
The End Is Near Again. Cuts on this one include:
1 Natzi
2 (untitled)
3 The Séance
4 Return of the Butthole Surfers
The 2nd full-length album,
Freak Brain, was again produced by Jason and came out in 2005 on Sympathy For The Record Industry. Tracks include:
1 haunted house
2 the lord loves you
3 twilight zone love
4 freak brain
5 jesus boy
6 see satan die
7 lucifer tonite
8 happy valentines day
9 souvenir
10 soldier
11 pretend you're dead
12 hell chick of rock n roll
. In 2007 a 7" single was released in Spain on Munster Records, which was "recorded by God Knows Who At God Knows Where", featuring the cuts:
1 Death of Satan
2 Monster Mash
(Pix of DoS 7":

Demos for the full-length
Death of Satan also were distributed privately among friends of the band members.
Finally (not including the new album being discussed here), there’s a brand-new promo-only CD on Sinedin Music (apparently connected with Munster) which is called
¡La fiesta es para todos! and includes the Nightmares track “Satan Don’t Care”.
-- notdanJust for the record (no pun intended) here's some excerpts from private messages I got from Jason Nightmare [aka "
ghost jr."] between May 2008 and November 2009 about the
Death of Satan album. I've cut out some potentially controversial portions of his writings, since Jason is no longer here to say whether or not he would want me to share those particular comments:
> i've always thought you cool, ken. afterall, you did give us a half ass decent review for
> [the first
Danny & the Nightmares CD], one of the ****tiest albums ever made.
> regarding [
Death of Satan], i think [Daniel's management?] wants to "self
> release" it, which none of us are too thrilled about. Danny wanted
Alternative
> Tentacles, who [we sent] demos and stuff and now [are] just sort of stringing them
> along, which is unfortunate.
Jello Biafra's interested in releasing it. I just don't
> know how interested I am in having him release it.
> [There was also a] 7'' that was released on
Munster Records last year.
> I have a ****-load of them left collecting dust here.
> let's talk about
Hitler with the public,
