the same thing often happens to me under no influence at all. Mostly music just triggers it but sometimes it is just spot on what I need at the moment. When it happens with a new, unfamiliar album or something that plays on the radio it┤s just magic!
They should have a word for that exact precise moment when an album goes from being a collection of songs that someone recorded and you bought and you like it alright to something magical and personal that can alter your mood in an instant and will continue to glow somewhere deep inside of you for the rest of your life.

'mind movies' is such an amazing song to open the album and 'light of day' is the perfect closer. definitely my faves off the album. i also love the title track and 'high horse'. the only song i'm not a huge fan of is 'without you'. my fave album of his by far, all killer no filler. near perfect, beautiful album.

This album really does have some amazing moments, and the lyrics are amazing, and yeah I gotta say it does sound a lot more spiritual and mystical when your highhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Especially Light of Day! and Mind Movies!
