so it suddenly hit me as i was watching a video of Daniel playing a song in a comic book store, while wearing a captain america shirt...

Has daniel had any opinions or words on the recent death of captain america?

For those of you who dont know, Captain American has, in the Marvel Comic books series, officially been killed off... the beloved comic book character will no longer be included in the new marvel series after the "marvel civil wars".

Im kind of a comic book nerd myself, and i was rather shocked by Marvels decision to cut out captain america...

But my question is really about what Daniel thinks.
I know he uses captain america alot in his works. especially alot in his art work. Has he said anything about it???  huh

I asked him awhile back about this, and he said he didn't believe it would be permanent. He compared the current storyline with one from the brief Steranko era in the early 1970s.

Also, I recently ran across an interview in which Dan said he wasn't currently keeping up with Cap, but I spotted an issue no more than 2-3 months old at his house around that time.

They laughed when I sat down at the piano.
They didn't think that I could play.
But their laughter turned to amazement,
When I got back up and carried it away...
