I think I'm going to be lucky to see that photo. I managed to forget to bring a camera of my own, and she was kind enough to offer.

I was even joking to Dan "oh man, I need this photo so people finally believe I have me..." and Dan finished "...so people believe you have actually met THE Daniel Johnston, you actually met HIM...".

I handed the young lady my email, and then I promptly forgot about it on the way home. To be honest thinking about it, she may have taken it with a film camera.

So if you out there young lady in the blue dress, please get in contact. I will try and make it worth your while if I can!

I met Danny too, twice. It really was a big deal for me too. I had a nice chat and got some stuff signed but didn't have a camera, oh well. If anyone else has any tales about meeting Danny, I'm sure we'd all like to hear them.

in my dreams many times.  i had another DJ dream just
this past week.  he seems to represent something profound
to my psyche.   how about you guys?  do you have DJ dreams?

It's really hard when they treat you like you are just a plain old concert goer.
And once the concert is over they want you to go...

I get the feeling all of us here have a special bond with Daniel Johnston.
We should plan a private party and hire him to entertain just us.

I probably have better reasons than the rest of you, but I very nearly posted that last week I had Dan was doing shows in my front room three nights in a row. This was probably something to do with me having been doing work for the film in my front room until early in the morning though

That's a fun dream. He was kind of cocky in mine.   
I had talked to him earlier (in my dream) then ran into him waiting in line for an ice cold diet coke and he seemed upset to run into me a second time and I remember him saying "ummm, I'm famous"

I don't know if this offers a useful contrast, but the other night I had a dream I was running through a white plastic walled city, trying to escape with Thabo Mbecki from Robert Mugabe and his henchmen. So go figure...

I would love to meet him also!! I would do anything to meet him! haha I remember when I first saw the Documentary.......aw just look up my first post here it explains whatever. I missed his show in Richmond, Va becuase I had to work and I couldnt get out of it :Q(  but I guess thats my fault I didnt know he was doing a show in Richmond til about a week or so before it.Does anyone know if he comes to Va much? I honestly never noticed it before so I was just wondering.

Nope, I didn't edit the documentary.

But I did produce, assistant edit, and lots of other stuffs the forthcoming Union Chapel concert film. Lots and lots of work. And it only cost me three inches of hair line!
