can you find his albums in stores?

I ask cuz I dont have any of his ablums and I finally have some money I can spend so I thought I would buy a few albums.See i can't buy stuff over the internet cuz I dont have a credit or debt card so I was wondering if stores would sell alot of his albums.I have heard tons of his songs but I feel its time to actually own them you know.I basically want as many as I can get haha I know thats a dumb question but I never go out unless I have a reason so I thought I would ask about his albums in stores.

EDIT: I also would liek to get my hands on some ablums I never knew were made entitled "the electric ghosts" & "hyperjinx tricyckle"! But I for some reaosn have a feeling Im not going to be able to find Daniel's albums including the ones just mentions in stores here where I live.

Hi Rusted,

I think the reason nobody has responded is because it really depends on where you live and the quality of the record shops there.  The easy answer is that the better record stores will have some of his albums but that probably doesn't help much.  If there are any independently owned record shops in your area they would be more likely to have some of Daniel's music than a chain store but that's not to say the chain stores won't have his music. They're just less likely and would typically have a smaller selection of artists like Daniel.  A good independent store should also be willing to special-order some of Dan's music if a customer were to request it. well first off I would like thank you two for taking the time to reply :Q)  Stress I live in Norfolk, Va and from what I have seen the music stores here stink :Q( and the independently owned store I knew closed.I used to buy tons of music their and they either had or I had to special order the type of music I like which was so great! What I hate about me is I never thought to ever ask or look for Daniel's music their before they closed and I bet they either had it or could order it(they could order anything it was so awesome). They day I realised they closed I just thought to look for his music their and when I got to the store it wasnt their and I felt like falling to my knees and yelling NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! haha but a few days ago I started to look in the chain stores and nop nothing and I dont just mean Daniel's music I also mean nothing that I can even get in to. I either listen to Daniel Johnston or the artists on the Anticon label and none of these stores had anything from either. So I got feed up and asked a worker if she knew of any independently owned music stores in the area and BOOM I found one(thank you Tracy) :Q) I stopped by and they of course dont have Daniel's music in store but they can order it and well they seemed to know of Daniel Johnston's music but they didnt seem to be fans but they did know of his music for sure.

Henry thanks pal I honestly didnt even think about contacting them to see if they would take a check or money order......duh I should of thought of that haha.
