Hello folks,

I'm just wondering, do any people here have an Amie Street account? I noticed that Daniel has an account on there with the Songs of Pain compilation at http://amiestreet.com/artist/13771.

I tried to set one up last year. However it went a bit wobbly, so I gave up. But now they have fixed it, so I am going to slowly start stick my own muzak up thar at http://amiestreet.com/robertwheeler.

For those who do not know or are unaware, Amie Street is a site where jobbers such as I can upload their music and earn money for it on a sliding scale depending on it's popularity. Music starts off free to buy, but the more a song or album is downloaded or recommended the more money it is valued at to buy, and the more royalties you get. It also has a spoken word category so (*attn Henry!*) it would be ideal for poetry readings too...

It seems to have got a little more commercial of late, with established acts and even back catalogs being featured on the site. Still, if you have a decent little fanbase, I think it may worth pursuing to bring in a little income without the hassle of copying discs etc. You don't have to do much fiddling about to get it working, and it doesn't cost anything to set up.
