Was this some public access thing on TV/radio? Was it in a class or something?

Also, I notice some of the guys are being kinda rude to Daniel ("we don't have time for that").

To make a long question short: Could someone explain to me this track? And who is the guy calling Daniel "the most sincere artist?"

Man, I envy anyone who has hung out with Daniel, especially in this period. Seems like a cool guy to have had around!
