Beats me but the person listed as the author isn't pleased with his name being falsely associated with it and is seeking to have it removed.  I enjoyed the part about a "melodic liar hell-bent on sportfishing".  That doesn't sound like Daniel Johnston - it's Ted Nugent!

Looks more like "Asphyxia Reaction" to me! Luckily Danny and the Nightmares don't have to wear those stiflingly tight "Upper Crust"-style collars!

Speaking of which -- would it be better to have Dan play solo or with the Nightmares if he opens some tour gigs for the reunited "classic" Butthole Surfers lineup (Gibby, Paul, Jeff, King & Teresa)? I suggested the Nightmares, but the BHS "associate" I was speaking with seemed to be thinking of Daniel just in general terms as an appropriate choice. (Assuming Dan stays on an "acid-free diet" of course!)

Oh, BTW: I witnessed the "end of an HAIR-a" tonight following an Asylum Street Spankers show, when Scott Marcus took a pair of everyday scissors and hacked off at least 10 inches of Wammo's trademark long hair. Wammo (one of the first people to ever record in Austin w/Daniel) then carefully bagged the hair in anticipation of donating it to a charity for follically-impaired children.
