I rememeber when I went on a long search for it. Always getting outbid on ebay. I went for quite a while without it (this was before it was re-released) I got a copy from Henry and I had only heard one song till that point. The song I heard I really liked so I was suprised when I got it how much I disliked it. I reallllly disliked it. As someone says it sounds like a angry feminist or something. I am sure KM intentions were good and pure but I for one cant bear to listen to this.

you name me a street
and i will name you a bar,
and i will walk right threw hell
just to buy you a jar.

I really like "Dead Dogs Eyeball" - better than everything on the Discovered Covered tribute - aside from a tune or two.  "Walking the Cow" "Going Down",and "Golly Gee" are my favorites.  McCarty doesn't strike me as an angry feminist - just someone who loves these songs.  I find myself wanting to listen to her versions sometimes, where with the Discovered Covered CD I find myself wanting to turn it off and listen Daniel sing the songs himself.
