Hi everyone!
We've upgrade our messageboard software. Let us know if you have any problems.
Everyone will probably have to login again, sorry about that!
We're hoping this upgrade will help with the spam, among other things.
Enjoy!

There's a local artist here in my small village of Inverurie on the nORTH-eAST coast of Scotland, population approx. 120 with a clean pristine river running right through. DolphinBoy is the artists name and nobody knows where he lives. We think he's from a home outside the village.
He plays in the town centre for pocket change, he puts a lot of people onto Daniel Johnston including myself by trying to play his songs, amongst a wealth of material he has personally written or simply made up on the spot.
His ambition is to get his music to Daniel in some form but finds the idea more appealing than any actual physical action.
I'm not appealing on his behalf I just thought it would be of interest to Americans to know how far Daniel's range goes - I understand he is popular all over the world, but for his music to become known in this country-bumpkin town is quite extraordinary. This is a place where people drive around listening to ceilidh music & live on farms.
DolphinBoy has led a charity group to allow him to record a record "The Rise & Fall of The Amazing.... DolphinBoy" which funds raised also donated to local charities for animals.
DolphinBoy missed Daniel come to the UK last year and is desperate to meet him to play some songs. They are soulful comedy renderings and have very little technicals to them, either basic guitar + tamborine or free-standing mini-keyboard.
Keep it up Danny, you are 1 in a billion. Good luck with your new release.
