Not that Daniel Johnston's music and art isn't spectacular on it's own, but yesterday i had the most amazing daniel johnston experience whilst on an Acid, Ketamine and Ecstasy trip. It felt like i was in heaven King Weasel, Nothing, Walking the cow, I remember painfully came to life in way that is unimaginable. it was like heaven, Music of the Gods, The music just encapsulated me like a 5th dimension, His music was inside me, and when i started to look at his art that i have plastered all over my wall, his characters came to life in the most playfull and dramtic way Jermiah never danced so welll! Its well worth a try, But like daniel acid isnt for everyone, only a very stable and positive mind in a safe environment can handle such a drug, so be careful if you plan taking Daniel to the next level.

 all my trips where done around 90-94 wile blasting
dinosour jr and sebadoh  im  only 31 but i dont think my mind and body is up for that again.

I smoke weed, and I've done coke in the past, but the last thing I ever want to touch is LSD. I'm bi-polar, and have had my share of "issues". I'm the last person who needs to touch that stuff.

yes they came to seattle last year man it was great.
 i have to say i seen j mascis and the fog and j solo.
but nothing beats the original line up and most dont know that
lou barlow is a great bass player. lets hope that they can get,
allong with each other for a tour for the new record.

yeah that coctail seemed a bit intense.
 i did some mixing way back when but x and ketamine,
where not even around yet so i have no idea .
what kinda frame of mind it would put me into.

yeh i agree that is very judgemental, i am young and youthfull and i am in college working hard on a music degree, experimenting with my minds creativity and potential is completely relevant and beneficial. My mind is stable, i couldn't be happier, life is about taking risks and experiencing new things, i respect my body completely i meditate, eat well and practice yoga. Drugs gets a lot of bad press because of negative people like you.

Right on, I saw them in Halifax Nova Scotia in a really small venue. probably 300 capacity. although i'm not the best judge of these things.

I was right infront of J's amp rig, and I had the earplugs and whatnot, half way through the first song, i took them out just to see if it was really as loud as they said he was. Jesus man, nearly took my head off. I figured, if I ever go deaf, it might as well be because of this. Threw the ear phones away, and my ears hurt for a week.

Best night ever.

Lou is the sweetest guy, was completely nice to talk to. didn't get to meet J. But Murph was awesome. Shared a beer with us. fun fun fun.

Well, it's just an opinion. I do drugs too, I just think it's something personal. Also, I wish I had a penny for every drug user that fancies himself an artist and or musician.  Usually, these people are marginally talented, but use their inclination towards getting high as a reconciliation/excuse to further their lifestyle. I think that's fine, but I don't understand why they have to use "art" as the conduit. Besides, I AM Judgemental Jones.
