Can anyone help me find somewhere to buy this album? Or help me get some mp3s of it?

I have found a couple myself, like "christmas in the looney bin" (which is totally beautiful and amazing) and I have of course heard the OTHER versions of some of the songs from other recording but I'm DYING to hear these versions.

"Merry Christmas" is my absolute favorite.  "Golly Gee" "Held The Hand" "Laura Hadley" are all amazing.  There's a thread in Album Chat somewhere I think.  You can order the cassette from Stress.  www.museumoflove.com

It's not listed in the catalog but I was able to order it by emailing the request to Jeff.  Maybe he can post something on the thread about it's availability.  I'm also interested in the circumstances surrounding this release.  The recordings seem to be culled from a variety of time periods.

It's always been available to anyone who asked for it.

The circumstances surrounding the release were that Sonic Youth was coming to town and I needed a new tape to give them. By 1988 they had already been incredibly helpful for a couple of years and some of the previous tape releases had been timed to coincide with the next time they came to Austin. That probably sounds a little crazy today but at the time it made perfect sense.  Daniel wasn't feeling very well that winter so I compiled it and he helped with the sequencing and approved of the final product. It was then given away to supporters for a month or two as a combination Christmas gift/thank you present.

JEFF! Thank you so much for sending me this album!

These versions of the songs are incredible. It's great to finally have ALL of them on one tape.

I can't find Merry Christmas anywhere.  The only place to find it was Stress.  Any thoughts?  Even a torrent or something?
