Actually, I figured this would be the best place to post what I do have of Daniel's and get some suggestions as to what I'm missing.  All of the ones that say "CDR" are the versions purchased from this website. Here goes:

Songs Of Pain 2xCD
The What Of Whom CDR
Don't Be Scared CDR
Yip Jump Music
Respect / Retired Boxer CDR
Continued Story / Hi, How Are You
Lost Recordings I + II CDR
1990
Artistic Vice
Fun
Rejected Unknown
Fear Yourself
Is And Always Was
Welcome To My World (figured I had to own it just cause)

Friday morning I ordered another DJ t-shirt and a CD copy of "Lost And Found" and according to the delivery tracker, it will already be in my possession today.  So, whoever it is that does the mailorder over there....kudos to you!

Sidenote: "Lost and Found" coincidently pretty much completes my Daniel Johnston discography, as far as solo, officially released studio full lengths go.  Pretty sure I just need to get a copy of "White Magic"...and of course the box set once I get some money around the holidays.  Can't wait to listen.

I keep hoping to come across this while watching the tv.

I saw this on the Facebook page for Dan's art.  Sad, sad day.

My 3 year old son loves Danny's music. Spare the rod, Spoil the child.

So I should spank him until he likes DJ? haha

YOUR 4 year old doesn't

one of my most treasured memories of my daughter growing up, right up until she was about 5, was hoisting her over my head...running around the house while we both sang 'rocketshi p'...

I wasn't really being that general...with that said....he honestly only likes "harder" stuff which is funny.

 cry

At least mine does.  I put "Yip! Jump Music" on in the car and he was flipping out for me to turn it off and put on either Kiss or the Ramones.

Maybe one day he'll understand !

What are the chances of this still being in print/being reissued around the holidays this year?

hahah!  Good one Smiley

I was wondering why it isn't mentioned on here (here being www.hihowareyou.com, not the forum).

Almost positive the picture is in the "Life, Music and Art of Daniel Johnston" book.  I could be mistaken though.

I feel with Pitchfork they almost try on purpose to give things bad reviews.

Also found this somewhat interesting:

" It doesn't help that The Story of an Artist's booklet, which includes artwork by Johnston, interviews with people close to him, and notes by Everett True, contradicts itself about some of this material. Did Johnston give Jeff Tartakov the master copy of Don't Be Scared before he threw most of his belongings into a dumpster, as Tartakov writes in his introduction? Or did Tartakov rescue it from the dumpster, per an editorial note in an interview with McCarty?"

I know, I know...it's Pitchfork.  But someone may be interested.
