I don't recall the line you're quoting but there is a song called Car Crash on Respect.

I can't find that album "Respect" listed.

I wish, maybe it is Car Crash like Stress suggested. I only have a couple of his cd's and two different style shirts of the same artwork; i.e. my avatar.

Now we're up to 48 and still no one knows! Seriously I thought there were some inside people around here. God I'm going to get depressed over this; poor, poor, pitiful me...

Daniel's family love him dearly. His parents are extremely good people. Even though I was the target of some of that wrath as well. They only wanted what they felt was best for him. And nobody realized that Daniel could have used a good doctor back in the 70's when his disorder was in its early stages. I think that they might have received too much bad press. His family are wonderful, wonderful people.

Wasn't implying otherwise; how could I as for personal character... These are just my problems with this so called medical field.

7  General Discussion / Website Forum / Re: New "Don't Be Scared" Album Art - we want your thoughts! on: August 23, 2007, 10:28:35 PM
We are about to mass order the Don't Be Scared CD and we're thinking about this new album art for the cover:

Album Art

It's made by Daniel obviously and the new CD order will include a booklet with information. I'm wondering what everyone's thoughts/suggestions are.

Thanks!

Could the 489 possibly be coming out of his head with his inner thought(s) on the shirt instead? Possibly the cat or duck or both could be serving platters of brains; one of a brain and one of a heart?

Just a thought or three while under the influence of legals.
grin

Also who's doing the prints? My buddy Satch kicks some major booty here in Austin.

So may hits so little help. Looks like most of us are in the same boat. Do any of you 20 something have any idea what I'm even talking about?

Mate, have you see the rubbish doctors come out with right now? Doctors position themselves as impartial benefactors of medical knowledge, and have vast studies and so on to back them. It is no wonder that a lot of people believe every last word they say, even when both prognosis and diagnosis are questionable...

I love this new fad of renaming manic depression "bi-polar." Now that's some funny stuff right there alone. "Oh and btw your kid has add, we're going to begin with a cocktail of Ritalin and Lithium and go from there."

Manic depression means you're sad. A lot maybe but just the same sad. Pills are not going to create happiness, just bad trips.

It's the prescription drugs! I mean honestly his parents are as much saviors as demons in my (outside the circle) opinion. I have no idea why people were so gullible to doctors advice back then. I get into it with our doctors all the time, especially when the concept of insurance comes into the conversation. Roky's mom is as guilty except she really is messed up herself. DJ's parents are as run of the mill as were Townes' parents and they let doctors mess their son's life up as well. I think people still trust doctors too much.

HELP!

Song and album please?

My memory is shot and tapes are near destroyed so I've been trying to update everything to cd's. Same with my old Blaze stuff; glad they've been remastering those too.

So is he related to Jay Tractenburg?

15  General Discussion / Biographical Forum / Re: plane crash story on: August 23, 2007, 10:29:44 AM
I grew up flying these same planes with my grandfather and engine failure is nothing, you'll just glide like a graceful bird and land relatively normal; given enough room of course. The tailspin story DJ's pop tells is an entirely different monster all together. Luckily he was able to lift the nose before landfall.

But there was that thing about a bumpy cornfield.

Still a relatively good landing all things considered. My question that I've never had the salt to ask has always been: So were there any freshly roasted corn cobs to eat. That's about the only why I like to eat corn, roasted but preferable on a grill and not a single plane engine.  evil
