I first heard him on the KIDS soundtrack, I bought it cause I was a big Lou Barlow fan and fell in love with the two tracks daniel did. I've been hooked ever since.

I was in high school,so im' guessing this was around 1997, about ten years ago maybe.

I don't know if he was big in the states but Mathew Good was huge in Canada in the 90's. I wasn't a huge fan, but I guess he wasn't too bad. Maybe a little middle of the road sounding.

But yeah, as far as canada's concerned that's a pretty big name. Should be interesting to hear.

I wanted to go to this so badly. unfortunately work wouldn't give me the time off to make a trip halfway across the country.

But Jandek is in montreal next month! and all systems are go for that one!

Right on, I saw them in Halifax Nova Scotia in a really small venue. probably 300 capacity. although i'm not the best judge of these things.

I was right infront of J's amp rig, and I had the earplugs and whatnot, half way through the first song, i took them out just to see if it was really as loud as they said he was. Jesus man, nearly took my head off. I figured, if I ever go deaf, it might as well be because of this. Threw the ear phones away, and my ears hurt for a week.

Best night ever.

Lou is the sweetest guy, was completely nice to talk to. didn't get to meet J. But Murph was awesome. Shared a beer with us. fun fun fun.

Have you caught any of Dinosaur's reunion shows yet? best show I've ever seen.

I really have to add Final Fantasy, Xiu Xiu, Ninja High School, and The Hidden Cameras. Because they all went through my cd player this morning, I never moped so hard. nor have I danced so hard. Ninja High School is the best Hip Hop group of all time.
