Title: NEW SONGS FOR A NEW ALBUM??? Post by: Disfranchise on October 19, 2003, 12:02:41 PM I found these three great songs on the internet that I've never heard before. They're recorded in a studio I think because it sounds really professional. The titel of one of the songs is "wiz kid" which is the title of an old song by daniel but this one is not at all like that one.
Here's the titles of the songs I've found: The Lennon Song Wiz Kid The Monster Inside Of Me Anyone know anything about these great songs? Anything at all?? Or is this old news perhaps? Title: NEW SONGS FOR A NEW ALBUM??? Post by: Pascal on October 19, 2003, 12:06:19 PM no, they're old songs, b-side of the Laurie single (1992)
Pascal Title: NEW SONGS FOR A NEW ALBUM??? Post by: Disfranchise on October 19, 2003, 12:11:23 PM ok thanks!
I really must have missed out on them completly. But they're really great and the should be on a real album, don't you agree? Title: NEW SONGS FOR A NEW ALBUM??? Post by: Pascal on October 19, 2003, 12:15:36 PM sure. there's enough rare b-sides now to make a good cd; that would be better than having to pay way too much on ebay

Pascal Title: NEW SONGS FOR A NEW ALBUM??? Post by: Disfranchise on October 20, 2003, 10:43:46 AM you mean that it would be illegal, Pascal?
But those recordings is not to be found anywhere and there's a demand for them. And what's Yipshare anyway?? Title: NEW SONGS FOR A NEW ALBUM??? Post by: Pascal on October 20, 2003, 12:20:56 PM well I'm new here so correct me if I'm wrong but I thought I read somewhere here that the site would only share non comercial boot recordings and this is an official single... I don't know. What does M. webmaster say?
Title: Due Diligence for copyright Post by: dejected on October 20, 2003, 09:53:12 PM Well, honestly, the reason I want to hear them is that I don't have them!
The problem here is that the single is no longer available. There is virtually no way to get them if they aren't on eMusic and the single isn't available. I'll tell you what - send the MP3's as email attachments (if you can) to dejected@rejectedunknown.com. I'll make sure they have copyright notices in them, and if not add them - and then we'll evenutally use them as MP3's of the Week on Rejectedunknown.com. I'm sure Pascal is right to be cautious. Thanks. Title: NEW SONGS FOR A NEW ALBUM??? Post by: Stallion on October 25, 2003, 03:38:57 AM Well....I know wiz kid comes from the xmas tape.

Title: Whiz Kid and others Post by: dejected on December 03, 2003, 08:20:40 AM There are actually several productions of whiz kid that are quite different in quality from each other.
Also I would comment that sharing mp3's of material out-of-print is not any serious damage or threat to Daniel's copyright rights. My personal opinion is that such sharing promotes interest and could even lead to the publishing of a compilation CD of such songs. Thanks for your comments. |
