Title: Re: Extremely new to Daniel Johnston Post by: dbeefy on August 18, 2005, 04:57:45 PM Just jumping the gun ...
'old stuff' - songs of pain vol. 1 and 2 , don't be scared , yip!jump music (either get the cassettes from Stress, or download them *legally* . Or get both, it doesn't cost much!) 'new stuff' - Fear Yourself, Rejected/Unknown, Fun Of course, to contribute to the fund for Daniel's house , get the Late Great Daniel Johnston too - buy from the official website, that way, the most £$ goes to the folks who most appreciate it! (just my 2p's worth) Title: Re: Extremely new to Daniel Johnston Post by: dbeefy on August 18, 2005, 04:58:53 PM Also, get a piece of artwork ,you'll be glad you did

Title: Re: Extremely new to Daniel Johnston Post by: Doug Sulpy on September 01, 2005, 09:00:52 PM I'd begin with "The Late Great Daniel Johnston" - it gathers material together from various parts of his career - not just the early, boom-box stuff.
