PS: As far as "Welcome...", they ran out briefly at Antone's Records in Austin, but the store got more copies in yesterday. Just so ya know.

PPS: Oh, and they also have a few copies of NOT Daniel Johnston's "How, Hi Are You?" 20th Anniversary limited edition CD, featuring guest appearances by Ray "Asleep At the Wheel" Benson, Randall "Biscuit' Turner, Ethan "no comment' Azarian and "Am" Daniel Johnston himself!

PPPS: Oh, and Disfranchise (is that like DisPepsi?), as far as your question, How can you not make a double cd when you look through Daniel's song catalogue? I say: Make two single ones! (or does that count the same?) I made a "piano favorites" collection, and am working on a "guitar greats" companion volume. You also could maybe do solo vs. full band.

seems like there really should be a definitive "best of" perhaps decided by us fans who know the songs really well. It would be cool if we here on this forum would be involved in such a project. Just a thought
