I'm a new member, and I'm curious -- I actually was introduced to Daniel Johnston's music by Ron Harris, who was a substitute teacher at my high school in the late 1980s. We were friends for years, but I've no idea where he now is.

Does Ron pop in on the site -- or is anyone in contact with him?

Hi Amy,

I used to be in touch with Ron but it's been several years and the email address I have is no longer valid. I'll ask Daniel the next time we speak if he has contact information. Ron was one of his very best friends when he lived in West Virginia.
