Presently, "Here Come the Warm Jets" + "Taking Tiger Mountain by Strategy" by Brian EnO. "The Band that would be King" dvd featuring Half Japanese. The bonus material is excellent! 2 short sets by the band in 1984 + '85.

As eclectic as my tastes are, I could fill up a full page full of my likes. I'll try to limit them to my very very very favorites, artists that I have the majority of recordings by and at least one bootleg.
Besides Dan... in no particular order,
Brian Wilson/The Beach Boys, Scott Weiland/Stone Temple Pilots/Velvet Revolver/Army of Anyone, Brian Eno, Pink Floyd, Roxy Music, Syd Barrett, Nirvana, Eminem, Nobuo Uematsu, Vanessa Carlton, Rolling Stones, The Shaggs (a burned cd featuring any mp3 I could find), Marit Larsen(though I am biased because I know her personally), System of a Down, Neil Diamond, Rod Stewart( the early stuff mainly), Sonic Youth, Linkin Park, Johnny Cash, Depeche Mode, No Doubt (early stuff...I *hate*Gwen Stefani solo), Boston, Robert Palmer, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Jeff Beck, Beck, Joss Stone, Dr Dre, Chamillionaire, Al Green, New Order, Led Zeppelin, Foo Fighters, The Cardigans, Pink, Sublime, Damone, Coldplay, 2pac, The Eagles...okay, that's probably enough!
Oh yeah...I forgot The Go-Gos!

Bathory
Death
Sonic Youth
The Shaggs
Sigor Ros
Sufjian Stevens
Julie Doiron

Germs
I really have to add Final Fantasy, Xiu Xiu, Ninja High School, and The Hidden Cameras. Because they all went through my cd player this morning, I never moped so hard. nor have I danced so hard. Ninja High School is the best Hip Hop group of all time.
I don't know. this is silly. i can't pick favorites. I have thousands of albums. i love them all dearly.

the beach boys are garbage
elliott smith rules
Well... you probably have some people worked up over this one. But everyone's entitled to his own opinion. I personally think they are both amazing. I hear so much Beach Boys influence in ES's music - and he was a huge fan from what I've read. There's definitely a lot of filler on the early BBs albums - then again with 10 or so albums in 4 years there's bound to be. I'm guess I'm just curious why you think they're garbage.
Sorry about starting a Beach Boys/ Elliott Smith discussion!
Has anyone heard Daniel's "God Only Knows" cover? I still haven't heard it yet.
