I just seen that video and it was a pretty good video! Too bad Mtv never showed it because i do believe it would had made a difference, at the least increasing his fanbase a bit more! Oh well Mtv sucks just as bad now as it did then. If you do get a chance to watch it,do so its pretty cool. I'm gonna go watch it again!!!!

Never released? Both "December Blues" and "Big Big World" are fully-realized clips conceptualized by Daniel himself, and they used to run regularly on Austin public access. I believe I've seen them on the Austin Music Network recently as well, and one of them, I'm pretty sure, was the video that MTV ran on 120 Minutes back in 1986/87...

(AMN has also regularly shown several solo clips taken from a live set of 6 or 7 seven songs Daniel performed on Andy Langer's local music show back in the late 1990s. I don't know if you wanna include those as proper "videos" or not. I do know that they include "Live and Let Die" as well as his medley and most of the standard set from that time period.)

Damn stupid site insists on Netscape 4.2 for a Mac ... I don't use Netscape, and downloaded it, and they're up to 7.1, and the thing STILL wants 4.2, so a pox on them, I say. Any computer geeks out there who can capture this and upload it to the videos section?

And that infamous MTV clip would be great to see, too!

As a matter of fact, ANYTHING would be great to see (or hear!) considering nothing's appeared since April... :-<

I've tried to capture that video, but they are using some funky java script to stream it to your browser / media player, so it doesn't save as a file.

We'll work on getting it digitized from another source.

now i might not be remembering this story correctly, it was years ago danny told me about this - but he didn't have very much creative control of that video and didn't seem to care much for it - and when it was all done mtv or atlantic or whatever sent him a bill for it!
does anybody know if that is true?
most of it looks more like a calvin klein ad than a danny video if'n you ask me. the intro rules.
