I used to play this game as a kid, and even since getting into DJ's music, the green creatures in this game remind me of it

see what you think. especially the creature with two eyes and a big mouth. maybe DJ played this?

Yes, the creature with two eyes looks like the frog of innocence ! However, "Hi How are you" album is older than the video games Commander Keen. Coincidence? huh
