performed DJ song 1st x!

on friday october 24, 2008 i performed at 'the down home'
in johnson city, tn.  the proprietor, who knows me fairly well, 
shouted out 'daniel johnston' as a request, and i sang good ol'
'devil town'.   it was a kick.  two staunch DJ fans were in the audience
and we talked afterward about our love for dan.

so this was a first but won't be the last.
i'm getting around to adding some of dan's songs to my repertoire
and it's about time.
