I already have Continued Story/ Hi, How are you?, and I'm thinking about buying another album. I really like the stuff recorded with the cassette recorder, what other albums would be good for me? I was thinking about Yip/Jump, but that was a reference from a friend.

Alright, it's going to take me a week or so to scrap up the money, so if anyone else has an opinion, there's still time for me to decide. Thanks.

Entertainus- (great tag, by the way)
I must concur with Stallion regarding Songs of Pain. First, it is 2 discs. Also, it contains a sort of lexicon for Daniel's future musical endeavors, including "Grievances," "I Save Cigarette Butts," "You're Gonna Make it, Joe," etc.
The songs are all from 1980-1983, so if you like the "Continued Story/Hi, How are You" CD, you'll love Songs of Pain.

Personally, I must recommend "Artistic Vice."
It's Daniel with a band. A good band. And it's as fresh and original and fun as anything out there. It's just another side of Daniel, a bit more up to date, a little more rockin, and a good intro to his most recent releases. Also, I think you will find yourself listening to it constantly.
So there, you've been warned.

For the record, you can grab ANY Daniel CD or tape at random and be totally floored by what you hear. In other words, no bad choices. Not many things you can say that about, fer sure.

Let us know which one (or two!) you end up spending your hard earned greenbacks on. Either way, the addiction is just starting...

Good luck.

Alright, thanks. Songs of pain, or Yip/Jump are what I'm thinking. Maybe both, i'm leaning towards songs of pain though. Why has he written so many songs about "joe". I think it's kind of funny because my real name is Joe, so... yeah.
