Here's an idea: How about a commemorative "Hi How Are You" T-Shirt, closer in design to the image in the mural, with the date of it being "saved" and the words "We Saved The Frog of Innocence" or something?
The shirt space could be shared with a Baja Fresh logo on the back (small), and a percentage of the sales (special to rejectedunknown/hihowareyou etc!) could go to assist the owner in his costs to keep it and for upkeep.

I sent e-mails! I made phone calls! I burned a candle! Now let's make a T-shirt!

BTW:
What was that old saying about "...no such thing as bad press?"
Wonder how many hits Google had on Daniel following this mini-crisis?

Okay - let's hear your ideas!!!

Wow! You did a great job getting the image from the mural and offering all these designs. I love the "Save the Frog Foundation" with the street address and the 3rd font with bold paint-like strokes. Having the location along with the image is great cuz it doubles as a sort of map to the art itself, which is cool. It will be an opportunity to tell people about Daniel for sure, as I can see alot of folks asking "What the Hell is THAT all about?"

Thanks for taking my humble suggestion to heart. I can't wait to see which one everybody picks as their favorite. It will be like owning a piece of history. (I guess a poster of the same is too much to hope for, but there, I've said it)

Glad the mural stays.
It's nice to know that all is right with the world, every now and then.

As we step into the bewilderness, we are caught in the excitement and the thrill of seeing the cutest, most adorable creature that ever roamed the the planet. It is a magical mystical being. A frog, I hear you say...NO! It's a gerbil, silly.

Please print this on your t-shirt

You need to get an actual host. Cafepress goes down a lot. I had many bad experiences with them
