That would be me! I played a couple of songs while Daniel and the Rhythm Rats got set up, and the SF Bay Guardian called me something like "a scruffy mountain man with flannel shirt and Coke-bottle glasses" (the review was still on the web until a few months ago when they revamped their site).

I'm not sure why, but I put a mess of songs up on the irritating "imeem" site:

You have to register to listen and it's a pain in the butt... however, if you do so, you not only get to hear my own finest recordings, you also get to hear the original improv demo that "Rock Around the Christmas Tree" (from "LOST & FOUND") is based on, and the totally stereophonic, utterly psychotronic, and partially bionic 1987 "die laughing" version of "Wicked Will" that's never appeared on a Daniel Johnston album. Actually, of the 8 songs I uploaded, Daniel can be heard on 4.
