anyone know how he's doing? just caught the movie

Watched the movie last night, having never heard of Daniel or the film.  Needed something to do and was scrolling through the onDemand movie selections.   Wow, I made a great selection!  Not only was a treated to a fantastic documentary, but I was also introduced to some very interesting, touching, and beautiful music.  I'm surprised I hadn't heard of the guy already. 

This morning, I went to the website and purchased the album "Discovered," and then also downloaded "FUN" on iTunes.   I see here that everyone reccomends the early tapes.  Obviously, I picked out the more polished stuff as a starting point. 

Has he earned enough money from the documentary/new fans to support himself without his parents yet?  Does anyone know?
