I just about **** my pants when I found "songs of pain" on cassette at a local garage sale.  What should I do?  Should I sell it? Hold on to it?  Put it in a safety deposit box?

i am shaking and I have no idea what to do

someone have suggestions ?

Well, as I've said before - you can tell that Daniel himself assembled the tape if the "E" in his name looks like a backwards "3". If it looks like a regular "E" it's a later tape assembled by Tartakov. Since the Stress line is all out of print, though, all versions of the tape will become more rare and valuable as time goes by.

songs of pain has no "E", not even a "3", it says "Dan Johnston"

I'm talking about the handwritten labels on the cassettes themselves. The photocopied covers won't tell you anything about who pressed the button on the Xerox machine, of course!!!
